I have long been fascinated by telepresence, literally the ability to be anywhere. telepresence is invaluable for human access to extreme or repote environments such as the surface of the Moon or deep in the ocean. Telepresence can also be used in the classroom, in robotic-augmented surgery, and lab facilities. This site concerns various aspects of telepresence, from what it it to its technologies, applications and aspirations.
